This course is divided into two parts – competition grooming for the horse, and competition grooming for the rider.

For the horse, the course will show you how to prepare a horse for competition – presentation, plaiting, tack, and tricks of the trade whether showing, dressage or eventing is your sport. It will also encompass warming up tactics for the competition.

For the rider, the course will help riders and their supporters understand the demands placed on each other physically and mentally and help you timetable your day effectively, how to call a dressage test, setting up practice fences to generally learning how to encourage and support each other for a successful day – no matter what the result.

Being a part of EVENTERPRISE is cost effective as there are regular sj and flatwork group clinics - it all helps make the pennies go further! Anna also organises social events such as film nights (not all horse orientated which helps keep one’s partner awake!!), talks and demos which encourages the social side of things.
